Frequently Asked Questions

A lot of my current and upcoming blog posts are inspired by the questions I have been asked or that I’ve asked others. However, for some questions that I can answer quickly I’ve designed this page to save the both of us some time.

Q: How do you afford to travel?

A: Saved money. Set priorities. Privilege.

I know, I know. Not the answers you were probably looking for. Unfortunately, there is no magic secret to affording travel.

Yes, there are some travel tips and tricks (and the ones I know I am more than happy to share in posts and articles), but at the end of the day, you have to decide what your priorities are and what you are willing to do to work for them.

Q: How do I have you review a book?

A: Read my review policy below, contact me through my Contact page, and I’ll let you know! My taste leans toward fantasy, sci-fi, and nonfiction, but every once and a while I’m drawn to something outside of my comfort zone.

I am currently accepting Adult and Young Adult books for review. I accept e-ARCs, print ARCs, and finished copies. If the book is part of a series, then I may need previous books.

I am interested in fantasy, sci-fi, nonfiction, memoirs, and more. You can check out my Goodreads TBR for a better look at what I’m interested in reading.

I am NOT accepting self-published books and audiobooks at this time.

I will try my best to read and review books in a timely matter; however, receiving a book request and book in a timely matter goes a long way in helping with this process.

Furthermore, I write honest and fair reviews, which means that they are not always positive. However, I do NOT bash authors, and I always try to explain what didn’t work in the book for me personally.

If I do not finish a book, I will explain why I am DNF-ing. I will explain how far into the book I got, why I did not finish, and whether or not I plan on picking the book back up again.

Thanks for reading my review policy and I’m looking forward to reading your book!

Q: How do I have you work or collaborate with me?

A: First, have an awesome product or brand. Then check out my About Me and My Story pages to get a feel for who I am and what I am passionate about because I will only commit to partnering with people and brands who benefit my readers.

Thanks for considering me and check out my Contact page to shoot me your proposal!

Q: What are you doing/traveling to next?

A: It’s a surprise. You’ll have to wait and find out. 😉

Q: Where do you see yourself in the future?

A: I don’t know honestly.

There’s a part of me that’s excited by the unknown future and there’s a large part of me where the unknown scares the bejesus out of me.

90% of my life has been preplanned. How crazy is that? Preschool. Elementary school. Middle school. High School. College.

I’m trying to embrace the unknown and see where it takes me. (And doing a lot of exercise, meditation, and yoga in the meantime for my anxiety!)

Thanks for reading and if I haven’t answered your question either here or in my posts, feel free to go to my Contact page and I’ll answer you as soon as I can!
